Our Goals
- Generate a scientific and technological research node that generates knowledge about the responsible production and consumption of food with emphasis on post-harvest, conservation and processing of raw materials of agricultural origin.
- Be a place that, through training activities, advice, information and services, contributes to the reduction of food losses and waste at the levels of primary production, distribution and consumption, and to the improvement of agrifood chains, attending to reduction, recycling and reuse processes.
- Be a source of consultation for public and private entities in aspects related to food preservation and the prevention of losses and waste in agrifood chains.
